DOUGLAS BARTEK is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Microtune,
where he leverages more than 27 years of experience in the
semiconductor, computer, and electronics industries. Prior to joining
Microtune, he served from 1992 through1995 as a Division President
within Cirrus Logic, Inc. During this period, Bartek grew the
Division's revenues from $50 million to more than $600 million annually.
In 1991, Bartek served as President and CEO of Acumos, Inc. In this
position, he grew the company from $10 million per year to $35 million
and eventually merged it with Cirrus Logic. Prior to Acumos, he held
various executive level positions with profit and loss responsibility at
VLSI Technology and Motorola. Bartek currently serves on the Board of
two private semiconductor companies in the U.S. Bartek holds a BSEE
degree from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.S. in
Engineering/Computer Science and an M.B.A. from Arizona State
