DOUGLAS S. ALEXANDER, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial
Officer of Trojan Technologies Inc., joined the company in the fall of
1999. As a member of the Executive Management team, he has significant
input on strategic decisions to drive profitable growth in the business.
He reports to the President and CEO of the company. In the role of Chief
Financial Officer, he is mandated to lead change and develop staff in
the Finance Department. Responsibilities of the department include
timely reporting and quality analysis of financial results, cash
management, risk management, tax and securities legislation compliance
as well as investor relations. Prior to joining Trojan Technologies, Mr.
Alexander was the Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial
Officer of Procyon BioPharma Inc., an emerging biotechnology company
focussed on the development of products for the treatment of cancer. He
also held senior management positions with London Life Insurance Company
from 1989 to 1997, including the role of Executive Vice President,
Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Profile
Mr. Alexander: Our company is in the business of using ultraviolet light
to disinfect water. We have many applications, from
