DONALD G. WHITTY is President and CEO of Mosaic Technologies
Corporation. Mr. Whitty is a former classroom teacher who spent a number
of years in the Newfoundland public school system. He has also taught at
the Miramichi College, and at Memorial University in St. John's,
Newfoundland. Before coming to Mosaic, Mr. Whitty held the position of
Manager of the Distributed Learning Centre (DLC) at the New Brunswick
Community College, Miramichi Campus. While there, he was responsible for
the delivery of advanced learning technology courses and operation of
the College's DLC Courseware Production Lab. Prior to this, he was the
Department Head for the College's Learning Technologies Department and
Multimedia Centre of Excellence during its startup phase. Mr. Whitty has
taught, via distance, a new course entitled 'Building a Knowledge
Economy' for Clemson University in South Carolina. He is frequently
invited to speak at events across Canada, the US, and the British Isles
on issues related to technology, new media learning and small business
startup. As President and CEO of Mosaic Technologies Corporation, Mr.
Whitty is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the company. He is
directly responsible for the direction and growth of the company into
the field of new media learning on a global scale. Profile
