Donald Drakeman – Medarex Inc (medx)

DONALD L. DRAKEMAN, JD, PhD is President and CEO of Medarex, Inc., a Nasdaq-listed biotechnology company developing monoclonal antibodies for the treatment of a wide range of life threatening and debilitating diseases. He previously served as Vice President and General Counsel of Essex Chemical Corporation, a NYSE-listed company, and President of Essex Medical Products, Inc. He also served as an Attorney at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and as a faculty member at Princeton University. He is a Director of Oxford GlycoSciences Plc and Immuno-Designed Molecules, SA; he is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Biotechnology Industry Organization and has served as Chairman of the Biotechnology Council of New Jersey.
