Dixon Fung – Mg Financial Group

DIXON FUNG is Founder & co-Chairman of MG Financial Group. He participated in the foreign exchange market on both the banker and broker sides. From 1984 to 1989, Mr. Fung was a broker for Lasser Marshal, a major Institutional Foreign Exchange Brokerage House specializing in British Pound brokerage with major banking institutions. From 1989 to 1994, he was a trader for Dollar-Mark Interbank, Helaba, NY of Hessische Landesbank, NY. He has been with MG Financial Group since 1994. Mr. Fung graduated in 1984 from New York Polytechnic Institute. Mr. Fung is the former Head Trader of MG Financial Group. His present responsibilities include guidance of the Risk Management division; strategic planning concerning the direction of the company and products; ongoing participation in negotiations with regulatory agencies concerning proper governmental regulation of retail FX trade; and assisting in the design and creation of MG's revolutionary Internet trading platform Deal Station 2000. Mr. Fung's presence in the retail FX market has helped it to evolve into its current form. He has been instrumental in creating a more professional atmosphere throughout the industry due to his strict insistence on professional handling of customers and proper application of standard Interbank trading etiquette.
