Dennis Zimmerman – Comsonics Inc

DENNIS A. ZIMMERMAN is President, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of ComSonics, Inc. He is a native of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, spending 50 years plus in the Bridgewater community. Mr. Zimmerman attended Turner Ashby High School and Virginia Tech. After two years in the United States Marine Corps, 13 months spent in the Vietnam conflict, he returned home and went to work for a local entrepreneur who was starting a new business in his basement. Over the next 15 years, he performed field engineering and consulting duties to the cable television industry. During the next 10 years, Mr. Zimmerman held positions as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Vice President of Operations, and Executive Vice President and Board member. Today, as one of the original 'boys from the basement,' he provides leadership and guidance at ComSonics, Inc., as the President, CEO and Chairman of the Board. ComSonics is a unique organization providing specialized test equipment and services to the telecommunications industry. ComSonics is 100% owned by its employees through an ESOP.
