Dennis Alberts – Crescent Real Estate Equities Company (cei)

DENNIS H. ALBERTS joined Crescent Real Estate Equities Company in April 2000, serving as President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Alberts oversees operations and administration for all aspects of the company. Mr. Alberts is a former President and Managing Partner of Trammell Crow Residential Companies, where he directed all aspects of the largest multi-family company in the nation from 1984 to 1987, expanding acquisition and development activities to 26 offices across the country. From 1987 to 1991, Mr. Alberts served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Rosewood Property Company, where he provided leadership over the company's office, retail, residential and hotel acquisitions, development and operational activities for approximately $1 billion in assets. In 1993, Mr. Alberts founded Pacific Retail Trust, where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer. He directed all aspects of the company, including acquisition, development and operational activities for grocery-anchored neighborhood infill shopping centers located in the western United States. Mr. Alberts built the company into a preeminent retail real estate company with approximately $1.5 billion in assets. In 1999, Mr. Alberts merged the company into Regency Realty, Inc., a New York Stock Exchange Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). Mr. Alberts graduated Cum Laude in Finance and Real Estate with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1971 and gained his Masters of Business Administration in 1972 from the University of Missouri. Profile
