Deena Mattar, aged 37, was appointed to the Kier Group Board as an executive director in September 2001. Deena joined Kier in 1998 from KPMG where she developed an in-depth knowledge of construction. She held the role of finance director of Kier National, the Group's major building and civil engineering projects arm, until July 2001, and became Group finance director in November 2001. Profile
