DAVID E. ZUERN is President and Chief Operating Officer of
Waypoint Financial Corp. and Waypoint Bank. Prior to joining
Waypoint, Mr. Zuern was Secretary of Banking of the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania from June 1999 to September 2000. Previously, he
was President and Chief Executive Officer of PNC Bank, Northwest
Pennsylvania, retiring March 1, 1998. Mr. Zuern is affiliated
with various civic organizations. He was the recipient of a
scholarship from National City Bank of Cleveland Fund for
Advanced Studies in Finance while at Case Western Reserve
University. Mr. Zuern received the Distinguished Alumni Award
from Gannon University in 1985. He received an MBA from Case
Western Reserve University with a concentration in Banking and
Finance and a BS from Gannon University with a Major in Finance
and a minor in Economics. He also participated in Columbia
University's Arden House School of Commercial Bank Management. Profile
