DAVID RYAN is the Group Chief Executive, CRC Plc. Before moving into top
management David headed the finance, marketing and operations functions
of key divisions within Raychem Corporation, a 'Fortune 500' electronics
and material science corporation ' managing businesses in Europe, USA,
Japan and China. Joining BTR Power Systems (now Invensys Power Systems)
in January 1998 he took responsibility for the European businesses of
Hawker Group which supplies power systems and industrial batteries to
IT, Telecom and materials handling customers. In October 1998 he was
promoted to head the Hawker group globally (18 manufacturing sites in
Europe, North America and Asia with over 6,000 employees), following the
CEO's retirement. Having lead both small divisions and large global
groups David says that with CRC he is 'looking forward to working on
rapid profitable growth, having fun, and helping make CRC the leading
international provider of assured service solutions for tomorrow's
information and communications technologies.' David qualified as a
