DAVID C. MERCER is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive
Officer of Interpore Cross International, located in Irvine,
California. Mr. Mercer joined the company in March of 1992. Prior
to joining Interpore Cross, Mr. Mercer was president of US
operations for Kirschner Medical Corp., a manufacturer of
orthopedic implants and softgoods. Before that he held several
senior management positions with Zimmer Inc., the largest
manufacturer of orthopedic products in the US. Mr. Mercer is a
graduate of The Ohio State University with a BS in Business
Administration/Economics. A former Naval Flight Officer with
numerous combat awards, he retired from the US Naval Reserves
