DAVID F. HOLLAND is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of
BostonFed Bancorp, Inc. He has been with the company in various
capacities for 27 years. Previously he was employed 11 years by the
Boston office of the international accounting firm KPMG, LLP, most
recently in the capacity of Audit Manager. Mr. Holland holds a BS in BA
from Boston University-1963 and until recently was a licensed Certified
Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr. Holland is
currently a Director of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, NYCE
Corporation, New England College of Finance and two mutual funds.
Previously he served on the Board of Directors and was Chairman of
America's Community Bankers, the New England Automated Clearing House,
Financial Managers Society, Inc., New England League of Savings, Inc.,
Connecticut On-Line Computer Center, Inc., and Center for Financial
Studies at Fairfield University. In addition, Mr. Holland served as
President of Thrift Institutions Advisory Council (Advisor to the
Federal Reserve Bank Board of Governors), and a member of the Financial
Accounting Standards Advisory Council (FASAC)-(Advisor to the Financial
