David Fox – Nestor Inc (nest)

DAVID FOX is Nestor's President and CEO. He earned his PhD in Mathematics at New York University and has been featured in both business and technical publications. A top-level business executive, computer scientist and mathematician, he founded his own computer software company, ran the world's largest container leasing company, and directed and brought public one of the pioneering companies in the emerging field of artificial intelligence. As Nestor's Chief Executive since 1989, Mr. Fox has led the company from its research and development roots to an industry-leading provider of intelligent, image- processing products and services. Mr. Fox recognized the exceptional market opportunity for the company's video-based traffic management and safety systems and successfully secured substantial external financing for Nestor Traffic Systems, a division of Nestor, Inc. founded in 1997. The funding supported ongoing product development and promotional efforts that helped to establish the company's CrossingGuard video-based automated red light enforcement and intersection safety system as an emerging leader in the traffic safety market. As a result of CrossingGuard's growing momentum, Nestor, Inc. completed a merger with Nestor Traffic Systems, Inc. in 2001, establishing the company's dedicated commitment to its advanced traffic safety products and services.
