DAVID EDWAB was elected President of The Men's Wearhouse in February
1997. Mr. Edwab, 45, joined the company in February 1991, as the Vice
President of Finance and was named Senior Vice President, Treasurer and
Chief Financial Officer in 1992. Mr. Edwab was elected as a Director of
the company in November 1991. He has served as the Chief Operating
Officer since 1993. Subsequent to joining The Men's Wearhouse, he was a
Partner with the accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he was
the Regional Director of its Corporate Finance and Retail Practice. He
graduated and achieved a Bachelors degree from Fairleigh Dickenson
University, and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Edwab is married
