KENNETH SMITH is Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer
of CIRCOR International, Inc. Mr. Smith has served as our Vice
President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since April 2000. Prior
to CIRCOR, Mr. Smith served as the Vice President of Finance at North
Safety Products, a division of Invensys Plc, from January 1997 to April
2000. He helped lead the successful sale of North which consisted of 13
plants on three continents. From 1986 through December 1996, he served
in a variety of senior financial positions for Digital Equipment
Corporation, plus led the turnaround of its Japan PC business unit as
its managing director. Prior to 1986, Mr. Smith was employed by Ernst &
Young for 10 years and holds a CPA and MBA. Profile
DAVID A. BLOSS SR. is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of
CIRCOR International, Inc. Mr. Bloss has served the company since June
1993 and assumed his present position as CIRCOR's Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer in August 1999. He joined Watts as Executive Vice
President in June 1993 and served as President and Chief Operating
Officer from April 1997 until CIRCOR was spun off from Watts in October
1999. In his more than five years with Watts, he managed the various
valve companies acquired by Watts Industries, played a key role in the
acquisitions themselves, and developed Watts' business expansion
strategy in Asia. Prior to joining Watts, Mr. Bloss was associated for
five years with the Norton Company, a manufacturer of abrasives and
cutting tools. There, he last served as President of the Superabrasives
Division, with responsibility for 11 international manufacturing plants.
Prior to Norton, he was with Cooper Industries in Houston as Director,
Corporate Planning and Development, overseeing $2 billion plus of
