DANA D. MESSINA is Chief Executive Officer of Steinway Musical
Instruments. Mr. Messina joined the Company in 1993 when it was acquired
from Integrated Resources. He became Chief Executive Officer in 1996.
Mr. Messina has been a principal of Kirkland Messina since 1994. He was
a Senior Vice President of a Los Angeles-based investment bank from 1990
to 1994, where he was responsible for its merchant banking activities.
From 1987 to 1990, he was employed at Drexel Burnham Lambert in its High
