DAN CHESTER – IGNIOS LIMITED

DAN CHESTER is Co-founder and Vice President Business Development of Ignios Limited. Mr. Chester has 9 years of business development, technical marketing and applications engineering experience, gained through positions held in the Semiconductor, EDA automation) software and SIP (silicon intellectual property) industries. He has experience of negotiating high-value deals for complex products and services with multi-national companies within European, Israeli and North American territories. Dan's previous experience includes technical and commercial responsibilities held at Madge Networks, Synopsys, Altera, Chameleon Systems and RadioScape. Having worked for both hardware and software companies, Dan has gained specific expertise in the boundaries between these two areas. As the European Manager (and first employee outside North America) for Chameleon Systems - a Californian, venture capital- financed start-up, fabless semiconductor company - Dan established a UK- based company to become the European headquarters. Dan created the European sales and support organisations, nurtured and supported a direct and indirect distribution sales channel, and managed all aspects of European customer engagement. He successfully managed a team through long, complex, customer evaluations with two of the largest European telecommunications companies.
