Craig G. Blunden – Provident Financial Holdings (prov)

CRAIG G. BLUNDEN is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of both Provident Financial Holdings, Inc., and Provident Savings Bank. He is responsible for the overall performance and direction of the bank, and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors; provides long-range direction by recommending goals and objectives for the bank; directs and monitors the daily activities of the bank; insures all financial and operating reports are accurate and timely; directs branch and loan origination/production expansion plans. Mr. Blunden is an active member of the Loan Committee, CRA Compliance Committee and the Senior Management Committee. He is Chairman of Provident Financial Corp. and President of First Service Corp., both of which are service corporations of Provident Savings Bank. From 1972 to 1974 he was with First Federal Savings & Loan of Phoenix, Arizona, in the management training program and from 1971 to 1972 he was an Appraiser for Provident Federal Savings & Loan Association, approved as an Appraiser for single-family residences. Mr. Blunden has a BS degree in Finance from San Diego State University and an MA degree in Business from the University of California, Riverside.
