Cornelius Ferris – Giganet Inc

CORNELIUS (NEIL) FERRIS is Chief Executive Officer, President and a Member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Ferris is responsible for the company's strategy and all aspects of operations, including finance, marketing, sales, engineering and manufacturing. He brings to Giganet extensive experience in all aspects of managing high technology companies. Prior to joining Giganet, Mr. Ferris was CEO of Netscheme Solution, a Web-based data access company, which was sold to Accuate Corporation. Mr. Ferris co-founded and was CEO of Fluent, a multimedia software company, which was sold to Novell. He subsequently joined Novell as Vice President of the Advanced Services Division, which developed Novell's entry into the telephony market. Mr. Ferris was part of the founding team and Vice President of Apollo Computer, which established the workstation market, and was instrumental in growing revenues in excess of $400M in a six-year period. Prior to Apollo, Mr. Ferris held numerous senior management positions at Data General, where he completed a 10-year period of record growth and earnings.
