CLAUDE COCOZZA has been the Chairman and Chief Executive of the Carbone
Lorraine Group since April 1, 1993 and was elected Chairman on March
6th, 1997. Before joining Carbone Lorraine, Mr Cocozza spent most of his
career in the aluminium and zirconium industries. He assumed various
responsibilities in Aluminium Pechiney, including strategic planning and
marketing, and became in 1990 Chairman of Cezus, leader of the zirconium
