DR OTTO SCHMID, aged 61, is the Chief Executive Officer of DICOM. He
has led DICOM's development in countries outside Switzerland. He is
responsible for corporate planning and development. From 1978, he was
the director for corporate development with ACU Informatik AG (a Swiss
distribution company for computer peripherals). In 1969, he co-founded
Wirtschafts Mathematik AG, a Swiss service company for mathematical
statistics and applied mathematics. He completed his studies in
Mathematics and Economics at the University of Zurich in 1970 with his
doctoral thesis on business forecasting. Profile
CHRISTOPH LOSLEIN, aged 32, has been responsible for the Digital
Security division since 1999. In 1998, he was elected Executive
Director. In 1996, he was given responsibility for managing the
Solutions and Applications division. In 1993, he joined DICOM to start
its German operations with DICOM Deutschland GmbH. He worked for
Pyramid Computer GmbH from 1986 to 1993, initially as a purchasing
manager with his main focus being on computer systems and latterly as a
sales manager and an executive director. He attended executive classes
