CHRIS THOMPSON joined FA Technology Ventures in October 2001.
Prior to joining the firm he was a Director at American Power
Conversion in the Enterprise Systems Group. There he focused on
power system sales, marketing and infrastructure design. Mr.
Thompson also worked with APC in Singapore and Japan and led
regional product launches. His expertise includes technology
marketing, reliability engineering, and he has published a number
of papers on power system and datacenter design. Previously Mr.
Thompson was a Fulbright Scholar researching economic development
in Asia. Mr. Thompson earned his BS in Electrical and Mechanical
Engineering from Tufts University and his MBA in Finance from the
University of Chicago. He also performed graduate research in
Electrical Engineering at the National University of Singapore. Profile
