C. STANLEY BAILEY, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
Superior Financial Corp. and Superior Bank, founded Superior
Financial Corp. in April 1998 for the purpose of acquiring
Superior Bank. He has over 30 years of banking experience. Mr.
Bailey received his Bachelor of Science degree from Birmingham-
Southern College, and Master of Business Administration degree
from Samford University. He is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate
School of Banking, Rutgers University. Before joining Superior,
Mr. Bailey served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice
President of Hancock Holding Company and Hancock Bank in
Gulfport, Mississippi, and Vice Chairman of the Board of
Directors of AmSouth Bancorporation and AmSouth Bank
headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. Profile
