C.DANIEL DELAWDER is President and CEO of The Park National Bank and the
Park National Corporation headquartered in Newark, Ohio. He served as
President of the Fairfield National Bank, a division of the corporation,
from 1985 through 1991 and remains Chairman of that bank's Advisory
Board. He currently serves on the Board of the Richland Trust Company,
Consolidated Computer Center, and Medical Benefits Mutual Life Insurance
Company. Mr. DeLawder is a graduate of Heath High School and received
his B.S.Ed., cum laude from Ohio University in Athens. He is a graduate
of the Ohio School of Banking, the National Commercial Lending School at
the University of Oklahoma and holds degrees from the Stonier Graduate
School of Banking at Rutgers University, and the Kellogg Graduate School
of Management at Northwestern University. He is currently President of
the Ohio Bankers Association, serves on the Board, and is a former Co-
Chairman of OBA's Group Three. He is a past Director-at-Large of the
Community Bankers Association of Ohio. Mr. DeLawder is a past President
and Board Member of United Way of Licking County and he served as the
1994 Campaign Chairman. He is also a past President and Board Member of
United Way of Fairfield County. Mr. DeLawder is a past Chairman of the
Newark Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and a member of the
Newark Rotary Club; he also served as President and Board Member of
both, the Lancaster-Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce and the
Lancaster Rotary Club; is a former member of the Board of Trustees of
Shepherd Hill Hospital. He currently serves on the Executive Board of
the Simon Kenton Council, Boy Scouts of America. He recently agreed to
serve as the Chair for the College of Education Advancement Board for
Ohio University's 2004 Campaign. He currently serves on the East Mound
Community Development Corporation Advisory Board. Mr. DeLawder served as
Fund-Raising Chairman in 1993 for A Call to College, the Newark High
School Scholarship Program. He currently is Newark Representative for
the Heath-Newark-Licking County Port Authority; served as Chairman for
the 1997 Operation Feed Campaign. Mr. DeLawder was presented the Fuerst
Award for Outstanding Community Leader by the Hills of Ohio Chapter of
the National Society of Fund Raising Executives. Mr. DeLawder is married
