Brendon Mills – General Bandwith

BRENDON MILLS, one of the youngest CEOs in the industry, and the product of two prior successful start-ups, founded General Bandwidth in 1998. Mr. Mills raised the first round of funding in less than 45 days, and has in 18 months built the company to over 200 people, begun shipping a carrier class product, and closed an additional two rounds of funding, bringing the total to over $75 million. Prior to founding General Bandwidth, he was the Director of Product Marketing for NetSpeed Inc, a prominent DSL equipment provider that was acquired by Cisco Systems. Mr. Mills served as the National DSL Sales Manager for Cisco Systems until he left to found General Bandwidth in 1998. He also worked at Dell Computer as the Manager of Brand Marketing for the PowerEdge server product line, and as Manager of Product Marketing for NetWorth, Inc., where he was one of the first employees.
