A transport services organization, ARRIVA is one of the largest
providers of passenger transport in Europe, employing over 30,000 people
and providing nearly 800 million passenger journeys a year. It operates an
extensive range of services including buses, trains, commuter coaches,
taxis and water taxis, ambulances and other demand responsive vehicles.
ARRIVA also operates two rail franchises in the UK and has a joint venture
in The Netherlands with Dutch Rail and will be the operator of the new
Copenhagen Metro in Denmark.
