BETSEY NELSON has been Macromedia's Chief Financial Officer since
February 1998. Prior to joining Macromedia, Ms. Nelson spent eight years
at Hewlett-Packard, where she held a variety of positions in both
Finance and Corporate Development. At Hewlett Packard, she was involved
in numerous acquisitions, equity investments, divestitures and joint
ventures, both in the US and internationally. Prior to Hewlett Packard,
she was a consultant with Robert Nathan Associates, an international
economic consulting firm based in Washington, DC Ms. Nelson holds an MBA
in Finance with distinction from The Wharton School at the University of
Pennsylvania, and a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. Profile
