BERND U. BRAUNE is Chairman, President and Chief Executive
Officer of Get2Chip, Inc. He has more than 20 years of experience
in the microelectronics, communication and computing systems
industries. In December 1999 he launched Get2Chip, Inc. Prior to
that, he held senior management positions with Mentor Graphics,
VLSI Technology, NCR (AT&T), LSI Logic and Motorola. As a member
of LSI Logic's start-up team in Europe he pioneered ASIC design
methodology from the very start of the ASIC and SoC industry, and
subsequently directed a multitude of state-of-the-art chip design
projects. His broad industry experience as general manager and
marketing executive ranges from launching the first portable pen
computer and wireless consumer devices to managing worldwide
operations directing R&D, hardware production, sales and
marketing worldwide. Before launching Get2chip he served as an
executive officer at Mentor Graphics managing several product
divisions for advanced EDA and the professional services
division. Prior to that he served as an executive officer at VLSI
Technology, managing the worldwide business operations which
included worldwide sales and marketing, corporate marketing,
worldwide design center organization, all international entities
and VLSI's system startup for wireless computing products. He
frequently participates in panels and workshops to speak on the
direction of the SoC industry and its technology. He received his
training in Electrical Engineering at the Universitaet der
Bundeswehr in Germany. Profile

Mr. Braune: The company started developing its product in 1997
and over two years developed a new
