ARTHUR T. FRENCH, CFA, CIC, is Senior Portfolio Manager and Chief
Investment Officer, responsible for coordinating and implementing
investment strategy, with specific responsibility for equity
investments. Mr. French has been active in the investment community
since 1976 when he joined Citibank's Investment Management Group.
Beginning at Citibank, later as a portfolio manager and a voting
shareholder of Loomis Sayles, Inc., and most recently as director of
equity strategy for First Interstate Bank. Mr. French has managed
portfolios for a diverse group of individual and institutional clients.
He joined Pillar Point Capital Management, Inc. at its inception. Mr.
French received his A.B. from the University of California, Santa Cruz,
in 1974, and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago in 1976. In 1995,
Mr. French received both the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered
Investment Counselor designations. He is a member of the Association
for Investment Management and Research and the Security Analysts of San
