ANIL GUPTA is President and Chief Executive Officer of Aristos
Logic Corporation. He is responsible for all aspects of the
company's business and operations. He sets the company's
strategic direction and provides leadership to ensure future
growth. Mr. Gupta has over 20 years of senior management
experience with Fortune 500 companies. Prior to founding Aristos
Logic, he was the Vice President of VLSI engineering for Western
Digital, where he oversaw product development organizations in
California, Rochester and Singapore with a staff of over 180
professionals. Earlier, he spent four years as a Director of WD's
Singapore Design Center. He established this design center from
the ground-up, acquiring all necessary equipment, recruiting and
training engineers from various countries worldwide and getting
the organization fully operational in less than six months. Prior
to joining WD, Mr. Gupta worked for Intel. He was a key member of
the 80486 microprocessor development team. He also worked on
several generations of Intel's graphics and communications co-
processors. In addition to being a highly regarded executive in
the US, he has traveled extensively to Asia Pacific and Europe
and has extensive contacts with business executives at various
multi-national companies. Mr. Gupta holds a BSEE from India and
an MSEE from Clarkson University in New York. He also holds
several patents in the computer storage field and has received
