ANDREW J. MANDELL is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial
Officer of ValleyCrest Companies. He brings more than 20 years of
financial and strategic planning experience to VCC. During his
career he has worked with many Fortune 500 companies. Prior to
Fox Cable Networks Group, Mr. Mandell was a Senior Executive and
Chief Operating Officer for the development arm of Universal
Studios Recreation Group, Los Angeles, California., a position
that included oversight of the $2 billion expansion to Universal
Orlando, Islands of Adventure Theme Park, and the Portofino and
Hard Rock Hotels. Prior to Universal, he served as Senior Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer at ITT Sheraton Corporation
in Boston where he was responsible for the company's worldwide
financial operations, as Vice President for Operational Planning
at The Walt Disney Company, Burbank, Calif., and as Regional
Chief Financial Officer for Pepsico Inc., Baltimore, Maryland.
As VCC's CFO, he is responsible for all financial activities of
the corporation. He leads a substantial corporate financial and
accounting organization, and oversees all financial matters
including banking and financing relationships. Mr. Mandell also
oversees the information systems and insurance functions.
Additionally, as a key member of the senior management team, he
plays a critical role in the execution and integration of
acquisitions and the development and implementation of business
strategies. He graduated from the University of Rochester with a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He received his Master's of
Business Administration from the University of Michigan and has
his CPA certification from Maryland. Profile
