ANDREW L. FARKAS is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Insignia
Financial Group, Inc., a leading international real estate services
company listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol 'IFS'.
Mr. Farkas founded the New York City-based company in December 1990, and
has since guided Insignia to a premier position in commercial and
residential real estate. In December 1999, New York magazine named Mr.
Farkas one of the most influential New Yorkers for the Millennium. Mr.
Farkas was born in New York City in 1960, and graduated from Harvard
University in 1982 with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Econometrics. In
1983, he founded Metropolitan Asset Group, Ltd., a private real estate
investment banking and merchant banking firm. Metropolitan Asset Group
specialized in securitized real estate transactions, including
