ANDREW R. BURROUGHS is Chief Marketing Officer and General Manager,
Applications Service Provider Business Unit of Apogee Networks, Inc. Mr.
Burroughs was formerly Vice President and General Manager of Teleglobe
Value Added Services (TVAS) and Teleglobe Business Service (TBS). Prior
to these positions, he was Vice President, Global Marketing and Product
Development for Teleglobe. Prior to joining Teleglobe, Mr. Burroughs was
Senior Vice President of TeleZone Corporation, a Canadian start-up
provider of national wireless, paging and messaging services, where he
was responsible for all operational areas. Previously he also served as
President of MobiLink, a national cellular telephone consortium, and was
Vice President of Global Marketing at Sprint International. While at
Sprint International, Mr. Burroughs also served as Vice President, Sales
and Marketing of Private Transatlantic Cable Systems (PTAT), the world's
first undersea private fiber optic cable system, and Director of
Business Development. He began his career as a Product Manager, Billing
Services at Pacific Bell in 1983. A Fulbright Scholar, Mr. Burroughs
holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from San Francisco
State University and a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Political Science
from the University of California at Berkeley, where he graduated with
High Honors. Mr. Burroughs also holds a President's Fellowship, an
Alumni Scholarship and California State Scholarship from the University
of California at Berkeley. He was also granted a Fellowship from the
Japanese Ministry of International Trade and Industry at the Institute
