ALLEN V. AMBROSE is President and Director of Minera Andes Inc. A
professional Geologist, Mr. Ambrose has 25 years of experience in the
mining industry. His career includes mineral discoveries in the
Americas, and all phases of project evaluation and management. He also
has wide experience in business finance and management, and
relationships with public markets. Formerly the Exploration Manager with
a US mining company, Mr. Ambrose designed and assisted in conducting a
generative exploration program covering the Argentine Andes, using
Landsat imaging and ground-based geologic data. He conducted detailed
geologic exploration of two copper oxide properties in Argentina and
completed a Landsat program over selected regions in southern Argentina.
As a consultant, Mr. Ambrose co-discovered the Brisas del Cuyuni gold
deposit in the Kilometer 88 mining area of Venezuela. This deposit is
now reported to have a proven and probable ore reserve base of 5.6
million ounces of gold and 654 million pounds of copper. Mr. Ambrose
also initiated an exploration program in Honduras that resulted in one
of the projects becoming a producing mine that employs approximately 200
people. He has also conducted mineral exploration in the western US for
major US and Canadian mining companies. Mr. Ambrose holds a Bachelor of
Science degree in Geology from Eastern Washington University, and
conducted graduate studies in Geology from 1982 to 1983. Profile
