ALEX FREEDLAND is the original founder of Mirantis, Inc. He serves as
the President and CEO. Prior to Mirantis, Alex founded ProSys LLC, in
1993. ProSys was a consulting company providing specialized software
services to companies including IBM, ADP, and Netscape. In 1996, ProSys
merged with RSI Group, Inc., - a world leader in Receivables Management
Software and Services. After the merger, Alex became the CTO with
responsibility for Engineering, System Integration, and Technical
Services. In 1999, RSI Group was acquired by LondonBridge Software
Holdings the London Bridge, US. division prior to spinning-off
Mirantis. Prior to founding ProSys, Alex held a variety of technical and
management positions with Tektronix, IBM, Edify, and KLA Tencor. Alex is
a well-known executive in the Silicon Valley area. He sits on the boards
of several hi-technology companies and is active in the investor
community. Alex earned a Masters degree in Computer Engineering from
