ALBERT W. VAN NESS, JR. was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer of Clifton, New Jersey-based Consolidated Delivery & Logistics,
Inc. in February of 1997. Mr. Van Ness had served as Chairman of the
executive committee since April 1996 and as Chairman of the audit
committee since January 1996. Prior to joining CD&L, Mr. Van Ness was
Executive Vice President and Operating Director of Cunard Line Ltd.'s
Passenger Ship and Hotel Leisure Division. He was also managing director
and President of its Hotels and Resorts division as well as a director of
Cunard Steamship Ltd. Having held various senior-level operational
positions with the Hertz Corporation and Citibank, N.A., Mr. Van Ness
began his business career as a financial analyst for Ford Motor company
in Detroit. He is also currently a managing partner of a privately-held
hotel management company headquartered in the Northeast. Profile
TWST: Please give us a brief overview of your company your history, services and customers?
Mr. Van Ness: I'll be more than happy to start off from the very
beginning of CDL, which took
