ALAN BUGGY is the Executive Chairman of nanoUniverse Plc. He is a
Director of Players International and helped to oversee its agreed $480
million acquisition by Harrah's Entertainment. From 1994 to 1997, Mr
Buggy was MD and Chief Corporate Finance and Business Strategist for
Price Waterhouse US Entertainment, Media and Communications group,
which, under Mr Buggy's leadership, advised The Walt Disney Company on
its acquisition of Capital Cities, MCA/Universal on its reorganisation
following its acquisition by Seagram, Sony on new business strategies
and SKG DreamWorks on a $1 billion fundraising. From 1990 to 1993, Mr
Buggy was Executive Chairman of ITC Entertainment Group ("ITC"), an
international media and entertainment company where he established joint
ventures with Fox and Miramax Films and set up home video division in
the United Kingdom, Australia and Italy. Mr Buggy was at Samuel Montagu
from 1983 to 1990 as head of media investment and merchant banking in
the United States and the United Kingdom. Between 1986 and 1988, Mr
Buggy was integrally involved in the creative and financial development
of Miramax Films as Director and, through Samuel Montagu, as principal
investor. From 1982 to 1983, Mr Buggy was Senior Vice President at
American Scandinavian Bank following a period at Bankers Trust Co. as
Vice President of the United States banking department. Mr Buggy
