ZACK RINAT is Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
Model N, Inc. Prior to founding Model N, Mr. Rinat co-founded
NetDynamics, a leading enterprise software company widely
acknowledged as the creator of the exploding market for
application servers. At NetDynamics he served as President and
CEO until its acquisition by Sun Microsystems in 1998, and
subsequently he served as Vice President and General Manager of
Sun’s NetDynamics business unit. As the first outside Director of
TradingDynamics, a startup Internet auction technology company,
he helped guide the company from inception to acquisition by
Ariba in less than a year. Previously he held senior management
positions in operations, marketing and engineering at Silicon
Graphics (now SGI) and at Advanced Technology Israel. Mr. Rinat
received a BS in Computer Science from the Technion (Israel
Institute of Technology) and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate
School of Business Administration.
