William L. Westerman

WILLIAM L. WESTERMAN is the Chairman of the Board for both Riviera
Holdings Corporation and Riviera Operating Corporation, and CEO,
President, Secretary and Treasurer of Riviera Operating Corporation. He
has served as Riviera Hotel & Casino Chairman since January 1992. Prior
to joining the Riviera Management team as a consultant in 1991, Mr.
Westerman served as President and CEO of Cellu-Craft, Inc. He has also
held the positions of President and CEO of Rapid Electrotype Company,
and once was a group Vice President with RKO General, a wholly owned
subsidiary of the General Tire and Rubber Company, Mr. Westerman holds a
Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Science degree from Lehigh
University, a Master of Science degree from the State University of Iowa
and a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University.
