William Harvey

William Harvey is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Alliant Energy. From 1998 to 2004, Mr. Harvey was Executive Vice President of Alliant Energy-Wisconsin Power and Light. Mr. Harvey was Senior VP of Wisconsin Power and Light from 1993 to 1998. During pre-merger integration, he was responsible for the oversight of Wisconsin facets of power production, natural gas, and legal and administrative services. During merger integration, he expanded oversight to energy services and trading. Mr. Harvey holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
