William E. Rowe

WILLIAM E. ROWE is President and Chief Executive Officer of Stewart
Enterprises, Inc. He entered the death care industry in 1965. In 1987,
he sold his business to Stewart and joined the company as President of
its Mid-Atlantic Division. In 1994, he was named President and Chief
Operating Officer of the company and served in this capacity until
November 1999, when he was promoted to his current position.
