Werner Heid

WERNER HEID is President and Chief Executive Officer of Iomega
Corporation. Mr. Heid oversees all corporate functions in support
of the company’s hardware and software products, ensuring the
attainment of goals and maximizing return on investment. Mr. Heid
is responsible for formulating current and long-range plans and
objectives, and he brings 16 years of experience in the computer
peripherals industry to Iomega. Mr. Heid was appointed to his
current position with Iomega in June 2001 after serving for a
year on the Iomega Board of Directors. Previously, he served as
President of Proxima Corp., a manufacturer of multimedia
projectors, from 1998 until its merger with InFocus Corp.,
quickly returning Proxima to accelerated growth and sustained
profitability. Following Proxima’s merger with InFocus Corp., he
served as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Marketing
and Service for InFocus Corp. He spent the first 12 years of his
career in marketing roles with Hewlett-Packard. Mr. Heid’s deep
technology marketing background is balanced by a Master’s degree
in Electrical Engineering from Karlsruhe University in Germany.
