Wayne M. Fortun

WAYNE M. FORTUN is President and Chief Executive Officer of
Hutchinson Technology Inc. His career with Hutchinson Technology
started in 1975 and he has held positions in engineering,
marketing, and operations. In 1983, he was elected Director,
President and Chief Operating Officer. He was appointed Chief
Executive Officer in May 1996. Mr. Fortun is on the Board of
Directors for G&K Services, Inc., C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc.,
Hutchinson Area Health Care, the Juran Center Executive Advisory
Board and the International Disk Drive Equipment and Materials
Association (IDEMA) Executive Advisory Council (EAC).
