Vinita Gupta

VINITA GUPTA, Chairman, President and CEO of Quick Eagle
Networks, Inc., is responsible for the company’s overall
direction and management. Ms. Gupta’s entrepreneurial career has
been marked by risk taking, perseverance and the ability to dive
in and grasp new business disciplines. She founded Quick Eagle
Networks ‘ then Digital Link Corporation ‘ in May 1985, and has
been the company’s Chairman since its inception. While Ms.
Gupta’s background was in engineering, she hired an engineer and
took charge of the marketing, sales, finance, purchasing and
manufacturing functions. Before founding Quick Eagle, she held
various engineering management positions at Bell Northern
Research, Inc., a research and development arm of Northern
Telecom, Ltd. Prior to that, she was an engineer with GTE
Lenkurt. Ms. Gupta holds two US patents: one for ‘solid state
relay,’ issued in 1984, and one for the ‘square root circuit,’
issued in 1986. She attended the University of Roorkee, where she
received a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications.
She earned her Master’s of Science degree in Electrical
Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
