Victor D. Almeida

VICTOR D. ALMEIDA is Chief Executive Officer of Interceramic. He
graduated in 1979 from the University of Texas at Austin with a
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He has been in
several positions with Interceramic since the startup in 1979. In
1980, he started a new manufacturing facility for Ceramic Tile in
Tulsa, Oklahoma, and sold it to a Swiss group in 1985. In 1986 he
became CEO of Interceramic, today one of the largest
manufacturers of ceramic tile products in North America. Also
since 1987 he became President and CEO of Grupo Cencor, which is
a holding company controlling Interceramic, Mercedes Benz, Honda
and Chrysler dealerships in the state of Chihuahua and other
investments of the Almeida family. He was also Chairman of the
State of Chihuahua Economic Development Corporation from 1995 to
1996. In 1997 he was presented with The Golden Eagle Award by the
US Mexico Chamber of Commerce where he is also a member of the
Board of Directors. He is also a member of The Greater Dallas
Chamber of Commerce and a Member of the Board of Trustees of the
Dallas Museum of Art and on the Board of the Mexico Institute.
