Ulf Jonsson

ULF JONSSON was appointed President of Biacore in March 2000 after
serving as Executive Vice President and Head of Technical Operations and
Strategic Management since 1998. Dr Jonsson joined Biacore from Amersham
Pharmacia Biotech where he held the position of Marketing Director,
Molecular Biology Systems. Prior to this, he was Research Director and
Head of Project Management. Dr. Jonsson was instrumental in the
development of the biosensor technology on which Biacore is founded and
has more than 20 years’ experience in the application, development and
commercialization of bioanalytical instrumentation.
