Tony Scholes

TONY SCHOLES is the Chief Executive of Preston North End Plc. He
attended the University of Nottingham, where he gained a degree in
Industrial Economics. After graduating he remained in Nottingham and
trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. Having qualified in 1990,
Tony remained with KPMG working both in the UK and abroad, culminating
in a three year period as a Senior Manager in the firm’s Derby office.
In 1996, at the age of 31 Tony left KPMG to join Preston North End Plc
as Finance Director. After two years as Finance Director, he was
promoted to his current position of Chief Executive.
