Tony Frudakis

TONY FRUDAKIS is Chief Scientific Officer, Board member and Head of
Research of DNAprint genomics, Inc. Previously, he had served as Chief
Executive Officer of the company, assuming the CEO role from Carl Smith,
the head of DNAPrint’s first investment group. Prior to that, Dr.
Frudakis had served as CSO. Before joining DNAprint, Dr. Frudakis was
Chief Scientific Officer at GAFF biologic in Sarasota, Florida, from
1998 to 1999. Before that, he was Associate Scientist, Tumor Antigen
Discovery, at Corixa Corporation in Seattle, Washington, from 1997 to
1998. From 1995 to 1997 he was a Postdoctoral Scientist, Tumor Antigen
Discovery, at Corixa Corporation. From 1990 to 1995, he was engaged in
PhD research training, Molecular Analysis of Invertebrate Promoters and
Enhancers, at the University of California, Berkeley and from 1993 to
1995, he was an Assistant Course Instructor, MCB130L and MCB130
(Developmental Biology), at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr.
Frudakis received a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from the
University of California, Berkeley in 1995 and a BS degree in Biologic
Sciences from the University of California, Irvine in 1990.
