Timothy M. Manganello

TIMOTHY M. MANGANELLO is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and serves
as a member of the Board of Directors of BorgWarner Inc. He most
recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this,
he served as President and Chief Operating Officer, and Executive Vice
President of the company, and served as President and General Manager of
BorgWarner TorqTransfer Systems from January 1999. He joined the company
in 1989 as Vice President of Marketing and Sales for BorgWarner Morse
TEC. In 1994, he assumed the position of Vice President, Business
Development for BorgWarner TorqTransfer Systems. In 1995, Mr. Manganello
became Vice President of Operations of TorqTransfer Systems’ Muncie
facility. Prior to joining BorgWarner, Mr. Manganello held product
engineering management positions at Chrysler Corporation from 1973 to
1981, and sales management positions at PT Components-LinkBelt from 1981
to 1988. Mr. Manganello holds a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. He also
completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and
is a graduate of the Chrysler Institute program. He is a member of the
University of Michigan College of Engineering’s National Advisory
Committee and is on the Board of Trustees for the Manufacturer’s
Alliance/MAPI.
