Timothy L. Dove

TIMOTHY L. DOVE, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of
Pioneer Natural Resources Company, graduated with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology in 1979. He then went on to receive his MBA, with
concentrations in Finance and Marketing, from the University of Chicago
in 1981. In January 2000, he assumed the responsibilities of Chief
Financial Officer of Pioneer. He had previously served as Executive Vice
President-Business Development for the company since its formation in
August 1997. Mr. Dove joined one of Pioneer’s predecessors, Parker &
Parsley Petroleum Company, in 1994. Earlier in his career, he worked for
Diamond Shamrock Corp. and its successor, Maxus Energy Corp., in various
capacities in international exploration and production, marketing,
refining and planning and development.
